A shatter in concentration. A break in the connection between a mage and an energy field. The result is a startling awakening probably akin to waking from a very realistic dream. I imagine at least a bit of disorientation is at play here.

Welcome to Nikolas Solitaire Webcomics! For now, Faction AER is the only featured comic, but if it finds an audience, then I plan to adapt more of my stories into webcomic format.
